The fight in the courts is continuing, and I will update you as I get the information. Hopefully we will see a return of this motorcycle rally during the 2007 Labor Day weekend.

Nestled in southwest Colorado, there are many sites nearby with historic or scenic significance. While attending the Four Corners Rally in the Rockies Motorcycle Rally, you may want to check a few of them out. Here is a short list of some of some of the attractions nearby:

  • See the remains of a vanished civilization of cliff dwellers at Mesa Verde National Park (~36 miles from Durango)
  • Four Corners National Monument - stand in four different states at the same time, the only place you can do this in the United States! (~87 miles from Durango)

Motorcycle related laws to know while attending

One of the common complaints when returning from a major motorcycle rally is about the law being rampant, and giving tickets out for every minor infraction. While we cannot stop all tickets from being given, some of those tickets are due to you, the attendee, not being aware of some of the standard laws in the state. Below are some of the most common laws for . Be aware, though, that many rally locations have recently passed local ordinances that may be more strict than the state law. For example, a new noise ordinance was passed in Myrtle Beach just in time for the 2005 Fall Rally.
