Alternating between two stages, the ensures everyone gets a good seat for at least some of the great music during the event. Amid complaints about dusty conditions, noisy generators, and general complaints about the original location, the sponsors have moved the location to Diamond W Arena Complex, near Alvarado, Texas. They have ensured the vendors attending are provided with better electricity hookups and are located on grass. The same goes for those camping at the facilities during the event. Even though this is branded as a "rock rally". it includes many of the typical attractions that brings us to motorcycle rallies in the first place, as well as some not so typical.
The lays claim to the title "Largest Party In North Texas", and bring in numerous popular bands to prove it. It also attracts other popular biker icons, such as Robbie Knievel, host and Master of Ceremonies for the 2006 event. Oh, and a hint: even though the rally starts officially on Friday, those who come in early (Thursday) not only miss the traffic and get a better choice of campsites, they will be treated to some extra entertainment.

Motorcycle related laws to know while attending
One of the common complaints when returning from a major motorcycle rally is about the law being rampant, and giving tickets out for every minor infraction. While we cannot stop all tickets from being given, some of those tickets are due to you, the attendee, not being aware of some of the standard laws in the state. Below are some of the most common laws for . Be aware, though, that many rally locations have recently passed local ordinances that may be more strict than the state law. For example, a new noise ordinance was passed in Myrtle Beach just in time for the 2005 Fall Rally. I make every effort to keep this information up to date, but you may want to research them more just prior to going to an event, just in case they have changed.
