Thunder Beach Autumn Motorcycle Rally
Sep 25th, 2008 through Sep 28th, 2008
What do Daytona Beach, Myrtle Beach, and Panama City Beach have in common (other than the obvious beach)? Well, all three cities attract enough bikers looking for a good time to host both a spring and a fall motorcycle rally. Thunder Beach Autumn Motorcycle Rally was determined as a needed extra just 2 years after the launch of the spring event.
From the kickoff party at the Sandpiper (with free BBQ and beer) on Wednesday to the final poker run on Sunday, Thunder Beach Autumn Motorcycle Rally is full of events and fun. There are five distinct areas of activity: The original Edgewater, as well as Boardwalk, Pier Park, Spinnaker, and Sandpiper. Panama City Beach is well known for its pristine beaches, so many bikers will find themselves partaking of that activity as well.

Motorcycle related laws to know while attending Thunder Beach Autumn Motorcycle Rally
One of the common complaints when returning from a major motorcycle rally is about the law being rampant, and giving tickets out for every minor infraction. While we cannot stop all tickets from being given, some of those tickets are due to you, the attendee, not being aware of some of the standard laws in the state. Below are some of the most common laws for Florida. Be aware, though, that many rally locations have recently passed local ordinances that may be more strict than the state law. For example, a new noise ordinance was passed in Myrtle Beach just in time for the 2005 Fall Rally. I make every effort to keep this information up to date, but you may want to research them more just prior to going to an event, just in case they have changed.
